Abstract

André Nyembwe Ntita devoted a notable part of his research to the study of French neology in the Democratic Republic of Congo, particularly to the contribution of lexical borrowing. In his memory, it seemed right to devote a study to the global mechanisms acting in favor of the enrichment of the French language in Congo. The numerous neological creations are examined within the framework of lexicogenic matrices, which also have the advantage of accounting for this enrichment of the language.
