Abstract

This article examines the return of Christ as presented in Ngwaba’s poem Shall the Trumpet Blow? It considers the biblical image of the trumpet, the resurrection of believers and uncertainty about the time of the Lord’s return. The poem therefore calls readers to remain vigilant and prepare for judgment.
