The sustainable documentary memory of the National Museum Institute of Congo: its usefulness and composition

Abstract

This article presents the documentary production of the National Museums Institute of Congo and groups it by department. The documents reflect daily activities and ensure traceability. As the institute conducts scientific research and conserves traditional and modern art, archival documents should also be studied to determine the identity of works of art.
