Abstract

This study focuses on the suspension, the most repeated stylistic figure in the novel by Pie Tshibanda Wamuela Bujitu, From Kolwezi to Kasaji, the Lost Loves of a Teenager. We identified the suspension as the most repeated figure because it appears forty times. In the novel, the hero Nzinga and his young soldier relate in turn their lost loves. Nzinga’s three wedding plans ended in disappointment; it is unfinished business. The life of man is surrounded by adventures that he will not be able to tell and by projections that he cannot accomplish.
