Financing of Market Gardening Activities through the Savings-Investment Relationship in the Mbanza Ngungu region

Abstract

Mbanza-ngungu is a region where market gardening activities are practiced. Many market gardeners, despite the production generated by their activities, still want to leave this urban -rural environment to live in large cities. If Keynes, in his theory, maintains that saving equals investment, the objective of the study is to verify whether this theory is confirmed on the ground. After analyzing the data from a sample of 30 people, we realized that this theory does not apply in this region. Key words: Financing – production – savings – investment.
